Building on the foundational course GIS 510, the Fall 2021 GIS 520: Spatial Problem-Solving course introduced advanced methods for organizing ideas and workflows and selecting the best spatial analyst tools for solving problems from a geographic information perspective. Designed to help and teach students to be more independent in their problem-solving skills, this course taught students to focus on the application of spatial analyst tools and apply our own professional thought process to solving spatial problems.
